We are an independent, private primary and middle school providing a rigorous academic curriculum taught by a nurturing faculty.
Our students are engaged, independent thinkers who value the process of inquiry and discovery. They are motivated and eager to discover more about themselves and the world.
We have an innovative, caring faculty dedicated to teaching. They are a community of educators who work collaboratively in the classroom and when implementing our curriculum, always with the goal of maximizing their students' academic, social and emotional development.
As educators, we are mindful of the future and how we can best prepare our students to succeed in a global community with constantly evolving technologies. With an academic curriculum emphasizing critical inquiry and problem solving, students develop these crucial skills at an early age.
We are privileged to have many international families at Next Generation School. Having students from diverse backgrounds enriches our students' education and lives; they develop lasting friendships based on respect and shared interests and gain an appreciation of different cultures.
Next Generation School is actively involved in the Champaign-Urbana community. Our students have many opportunities to experience its wealth of educational and cultural resources. Given our commitment to outreach, it has been our honor to partner with schools and institutions in our community. Our social curriculum and engagement initiatives build our students' self-confidence and empower them to become principled, engaged citizens of the world. Students learn the responsibilities and rewards of good citizenship when they see first-hand how their efforts make a difference in people's lives.
