Early Education 2009-2010 Calendar
The school will be open year round, except for the following days:
Friday, Jan. 1, 2010 - New Year’s Day
Friday, April 2 - Good Friday
Friday, May 28 - Teacher In-service
Monday, May 31 - Memorial Day
Monday, July 5 – Fourth of July Observed
Friday, Sept. 3 - Teacher In-service
Monday, Sept. 6 - Labor Day
Thursday, Nov. 25 - Thanksgiving Day
Friday, Nov. 26 - Friday after Thanksgiving Day Thursday, Dec. 23 – Christmas Day observed
Friday, Dec. 24 - Christmas Eve
Thursday, Dec. 30 – New Year’s Day observed
Friday, Dec. 31 - New Year’s Eve
In addition, Next Generation Early Education follows Champaign Unit 4 school district for school closings due to inclement weather or road safety reasons. However, if Unit 4 is closed for other reasons applicable to Unit 4 only, Next Generation will remain open.Please feel free to call Next Generation – the message machine will be changed to let everyone know if we are open or closed as soon as a decision has been made. When we close, we have also made it a habit of calling the TV and radio stations to inform them as well, so if you do not see Next Generation Early Education on the scroll, there is a good chance we are open.
You may also join the NGS Early Education Google group. If you join this group, you will be notified immediately (as soon as Next Generation has made a decision) of any important announcements regarding the school, including information about school closings and/or openings. If you have a gmail account, you can sign up for this group online.
